LG SETA- Local Government and related Services Sector Education and Training Authority ETQA has been accredited to assure the quality of the qualifications and learner achievements. If you wish to offer programmes through any other SETA they will have to have a memorandum of understanding with LGSETA.

The Level 2 and Level 4 qualifications for Environmental Practice were registered (without fanfare) and now appear on the SAQA web site.

 

The links in the table above connect directly to the SAQA web site We have not yet had the time to do a detailed check to see what has changed between when we submitted the qualifications and the form in which they were registered.

 

Margie and I would like to thank all of you who contributed in one way or another to the development of these qualifications. We hope they meet your purposes and they they contribute to change in attitude and approach to environmental practice.

 


2006-01-25 SAQA required further changes to the qualification and unit standards, mostly to the international comparability section.

 


2005-10-27 The revised submission for the NQF Level 4 qualifications and unit standards has been posted.

 


2005-08-25 The submission for the NQF Level 4 qualifications and unit standards has been posted. Now removed 2005-10-30.

SAQA has published the NQF level 2 Qualification in Environmental Practice for public comment Link: NSB 10: National Certificate: Environmental Practice - Level 2

There is a 30-day period for comments.
